Space to have fun

We have three spaces to use for your school prom or for party hire in this beautiful location in Scotland. You can choose one or all three so your guests really do have plenty of space to have fun.

Our decking and lawn are wonderful for use as an informal area, with fabulous views over the loch. We can light the whole area with sparkling fairy lights to give it a fairytale vibe. We can also supply firepits to offer a bit of warmth and for toasting marshmallows.

Our downstairs space has floor-to-ceiling windows giving guests stunning 180-degree views and a wonderful airy feel. It has a set of double doors that lead outside and offers a beautiful, elegant area to party the night away.

The room upstairs has a beautiful wooden floor and impressive views of the loch and more. With a spacious, rustic feel to it, it can be decorated to incorporate whatever theme or style you want for your school prom.

Eco-friendly and sustainable

Being eco-friendly and sustainable is interwoven in everything we do here at Venachar Lochside, and it is important to us to take care of our stunning environment. We are always mindful of our eco-friendly ethos. From the food we serve to the suppliers we work with, right down to the decorations we use.

We recycle everything we can, working with our waste disposal partners to constantly improve. We source food locally wherever possible in a bid to reduce any menu miles. And through careful planning (not to mention the fact that our food is delicious!) we have very few leftovers. What is leftover is donated and anything that can’t be donated is composted. We never use single-use plastic and all disposable items are biodegradable.

Delicious dishes and the details for your school prom

Our chefs have created a superb selection of delicious dishes to serve at your school prom. With dietary requirements in mind, we offer fully vegan or vegetarian options too. Give us a call, we would be happy to discuss what you have in mind.

We can offer sit-down meals, buffet food and even picnic-style food eaten out on the lawn. We can tailor our offer to suit the atmosphere you want to achieve. And if foraged food is something you like the idea of, we can help!

Although we don’t have accommodation on-site, we have a list of local accommodation, all within 10 miles of us. And we can arrange for a bus to transport your guests once the prom has finished.
